She is currently director of individual and institutional giving at Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence in Philadelphia.  Previously, she was Settlement’s West Philadelphia branch director for seven years.  Still an active accompanist and performer, Ms. Halker-Kratz holds a specialization in new music (written after 1980) in all keyboard genres.

Administrative Assistant: Ms. Darlene Leech

Darlene Leech retired in 2010 following a 38-year management career at one of Philadelphia’s largest law firms. After Darlene joined Trinity in 2014, she mentioned to Pastor that she was looking for a part-time job because Darlene missed being around people.  A few weeks later, at our Women’s Bible Study, Pastor mentioned that the church secretary had to resign because her husband had been transferred.  Pastor looked at Darlene, and having never been a secretary, Darlene thought this would surely be a challenge.  And she was right!  It took an entire year to get through the church calendar, learn by her mistakes, encouraged by Pastor, and Darlene truly enjoys coming to work every day.  Darlene works for and with her church family, a caring staff, a thriving nursery school and each day presents its own challenges and victories.  With the encouragement of Pastor, Darlene’s fellow congregants, and God who gave her the courage, Darlene is truly happy at Trinity.

Director of the Week-Day School: Ms. Marian Galante

Two Church members, Mrs. Ann Willox and her daughter Eileen, founded
Trinity Lutheran Nursery School in the  early 80’s . Mrs. Willox was a retired  elementary school teacher and her daughter had just graduated college. Miss Marian has been the director of the school for 30 years. She has watched the school develop from two classrooms to 9 , including  before and aftercare hours.  The school has  also included gym, music yoga and Zumba to the weekly routine. Trinity is blessed with creative patient and loving women who offer a diverse curriculum  for the children to explore and grow. Many wonderful people have worked to develop the school: Mary Sealander, John Ross, Mary Borman, and Pastor Littleton just to  name a  few.
